Community Safety for Accredited Persons

TFS is proud to offer the only blended solution for the Community Safety for Accredited Persons programme.

The programme resources have been developed and produced by experienced educationalists from the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies at The University of Portsmouth.

Ian Kirke, Managing Director, said, “This award underpins the vital role that accredited persons play within the extended police family. Its practical approach and flexible learning opportunities offer a significant return on investment, especially since prior SIA learning is recognised. I welcome the pragmatic approach adopted by Skills for Security and the enthusiastic approach to our blended learning solution that engages with distance learning materials thus significantly reducing the time away from the workplace. A good example of how this solution is being used is within the London Borough of Hounslow where the Environmental Enforcement Team has adopted the TFS model.”

With holders of Level 2 SIA programmes that engage with conflict resolution being exempted from the requirement to attend the one-day classroom based element, the TFS solution offers a great return on investment for all private security companies.

KUSCO logo“We are very proud of our Security Team at Kingston University and we take a proactive approach in creating a safe and secure learning environment for our staff, students and visitors. The CSAS training delivered by TFS was outstanding and the fruits of their labour are not only appreciated by the team, but the local community and students returning late at night to their dorms.”
