Adam is a barrister at 9BR Chambers. He regularly appears in the Crown and Magistrates courts prosecuting and defending. He is able to offer practical court room training (e.g., cross-examination exercises); provide advice on case preparation and present expert legal analysis on various criminal liability issues. As a former investigator for the Serious Fraud Office, he is also able to offer advice in respect of financial crime; anti-bribery and corruption and investigations.
Deliverables include:
- Court room training including cross-examination and evidence in chief.
- Drafting of witness statement templates.
- Review of relevant policy documents to determine legality / suggest areas of improvement.
- Desktop review of past events / case studies to suggest improvements from a legal perspective.
- Advice / presentations on ancillary court orders which can be applied for in order to further protect the store (e.g., Criminal Behaviour Orders).
- Presentations on how to bring a private prosecution.
- Advice / presentations on common issues and sentencing options arising in relation to driving offences (e.g., those committed by delivery drivers)
- Anti-bribery and corruption training.
